2016

So I passed my target of 4000 miles for the year in 2016.....by a 1000 miles, clocking up 8100km.
It was a very good cycling year with highlights being my first race at Dig in the Dock, Cycling the Caledonian Way from Arran to Inverness, taking part in my first solo 10 hour endurance mountain bike race, cyling the Monchique Mountains in Portugal and managing 77 commutes to work.
It's not world beating but not bad for a 37 year old primary teacher and dad!
Ive set the target of 10,000km for 2017 for a start and I would really like to get a few more century rides under the belt.
Anyway here's to 2016 and onwards to 2017.
Check out my heatmap for 2016 below.
